OverviewVASL is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and build strong relationships with international clients. ResponsibilitiesClient-Facing Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary financial advisor and point of contact for international clients.
- Deliver high-quality financial reports, analysis, and insights tailored to client-specific needs.
- Address client inquiries and resolve financial issues promptly and professionally.
Financial Operations:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial controls for both internal and client accounts.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Monitor and manage client account performance, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and deliverables.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors to meet both internal and client-specific audit needs.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to meet client expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and enhance client satisfaction.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices in financial management for internal operations and client accounts.
- Qualification: ACCA, ICMA, CA (Finalist or Qualified), MBA Finance, or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years in financial management, with at least 2 years in client-facing roles. Experience working with international clients is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools. Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and tax regulations.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with clients effectively. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Leadership skills to manage teams and ensure smooth client operations.
