The role
We are looking for a Site Engineer Civil for a Power and Energy project based in Hyderabad, Pakistan. The candidate must have extensive experience in site engineering, civil works supervision, and compliance management, particularly in the power and energy sector, to ensure effective implementation of Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Security protocols at the site level.
- Supervise and execute all civil engineering work at the site in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
- Implement and enforce Security protocols to safeguard personnel, equipment, and materials on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure work progresses as per design and safety guidelines.
- Maintain daily site records, prepare progress reports, and submit compliance documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards and promote a safety-first culture.
- Oversee and monitor Fire Safety measures, ensuring systems are in place, tested, and maintained.
- Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field)
- Minimum 07 years of relevant experience in civil engineering works, preferably in power and energy projects.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
