Experience: 1-2 years in a financial environment, with exposure to banking operations, AML/CFT regulations, and related acts. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or commerce from an HEC-recognized institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with UNSC and Targeted Financial Sanctions Regime, including screening activities, freezing/de-freezing actions, and adherence to Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.
  • Verify daily NACTA reconciliation, oversee watch list management, and FCM alerts generated through bulk scanning.
  • Analyze data to identify Proscribed and Designated Persons/Entities.
  • Conduct gap assessments on FCM and implement improvements.
  • Review and enforce AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Assess internal ML/TF/PF risks, including transnational risks.
  • Perform transaction monitoring, alert management, and ensure quality assurance of alerts.
  • Review and approve escalated transaction alerts and ensure timely submission of STRs/CTRs to FMU via goAML, complying with SBP regulations.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of KYC/CDD policies, oversee CDD reviews, and maintain records of account statuses.
