Job Description
Follow macro plan bifurcate in accordance with co-priorities and constitute a micro plan. Record the interim changes, if occurs. Troubleshoot / fix the resources shortage. Keep a close liaison with quality management systems. Keep appropriate inventories back to support production operations and maintain supply chain. Add value by using benchmarking strategies in overall operations. Follow and implement all regulatory requirements as and when required basis. Gather respective customer feedback and respond to customer complaints proactively. Maintain validation and its records for newly introduced products, run trial batch, collect and keep records of QC analysis. Arrange some 2nd/3rd party product analysis. Coordinate with Quality Control and Quality Assurance for maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. Keep update all documents, files, maps, records, policies, and procedures for smooth operations. Ensure safety, health and environment at plant. Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Our client belongs to a Pharmaceutical company dealing in Trade, Toll manufacturing and Distribution. They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Production Manager to oversee and manage the manufacturing operations of our Tablet, Liquid, Cream & Ointment, and Cephalosporin sections . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely production, maintaining cGMP compliance, achieving quality and quantity targets, and managing resources efficiently across all production areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day production operations of all four sections: Tablet, Liquid, Cream & Ointment, and Cephalosporin.
- Ensure manufacturing is carried out as per batch production records (BPRs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and cGMP guidelines.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to ensure smooth and compliant production processes.
- Monitor production output and ensure achievement of planned production targets with minimal downtime and optimal resource utilization.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) in case of deviations, breakdowns, or non-conformities.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate performance of production staff and line supervisors.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental protocols.
- Ensure cleanliness, calibration, validation, and maintenance of all production equipment and areas.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, yields, and variance records.
- Participate in regulatory and internal audits; ensure readiness and compliance at all times.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (Pharm-D or B.Pharm).
- Minimum 12–15 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical production, with proven expertise in Tablet, Liquid, Cream & Ointment, Injectables and Cephalosporin manufacturing .
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP, Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) regulations, and international quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Experience with production planning, ERP systems, and documentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Certification in GMP, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma will be an advantage.
- Prior experience with regulatory audits (DRAP, WHO, etc.).
