Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to lead our finance operations in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NBFC financial management , with expertise in regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and strategic planning. This role requires both hands-on execution and leadership skills to build a robust financial function that supports PalmPay’s expansion in Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to management and group finance
- Ensure timely reporting of all periodical financial information to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with SECP regulations and NBFC-related financial requirements in Pakistan
- Supervise tax compliance, TDS/VDS deductions, and ensure proper filings with authorities
- Liaise with auditors for internal and external audits, ensuring smooth and timely completion
- Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor variances, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury operations
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through strong internal controls and risk management practices
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team in Pakistan
- Work closely with Business, Product, HR, and Compliance teams to align financial goals with overall business strategy
- Provide financial insights to support product operations and business development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred
- Minimum 7 years of finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role within NBFC, fintech, or digital financial services
- Strong knowledge of SECP regulations, tax laws, and NBFC accounting practices
- Proven track record in financial reporting, audits, compliance, and treasury management
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP software and advanced MS Excel
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Fluency in English and Urdu
