Responsible to establish strategic & tactical Material Plans to meet the business & revenue goals of the corporation. Makes decisions on operational & materials matters that affect the supply chain, inventory and logistics.
JOB COMPLEXITY:
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

INTERACTION:

Responsible for managing the Material Supply-Chain and Inventory Control programs for our Textile product family working with department managers within the Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance organizations. Job Specification

Responsible for managing all functions within the designated supply channel to include: Purchasing, Contract Manufacturing Management, Inventory Control, global multi-facility inventory and logistics. Experience in establishing and managing and optimizing inventory levels to meet corporate objectives, while maintaining customer satisfaction. Experience in leading programs; NPI, cost reduction, standard costs, inventory logistics/freight-forwarding. Experience in identifying and managing opportunities to reduce COGS. Experience working with complex products and multi-product environments in a Textile or Automobile Environment. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
