Job Role / Responsibilities: Reporting to the Manager, Technology Support, Biomedical Engineering (BME), we are looking for an experienced and individual to join our team as a technician, Technology Support, Biomedical Engineering. The incumbent will work under minimal supervision to provide support in the repair, troubleshoot calibration, and maintenance of biomedical and electromechanical devices. The person would be under general supervision and using the tools and techniques of biomedical technology. Main Responsibilities: repair, maintain, calibrate, and inspect the medical equipment, as per assigned work order troubleshoot at the component level and printed circuit board assemblies using electronic knowledge, theory, and applicable documentation perform timely preventive maintenance of medical equipment and keep records of data and documentation perform technical inspection of medical equipment / spares / consumable as per the maintenance procedure and department standard to ensure its meeting the requirement identify aging and obsolete patient care equipment to manager and provide recommendation for replacement with justification prepare documentation and maintain records pertaining to all repairs, replacement parts, calibrations, and modifications of medical equipment in computerize maintenance management attend breakdown and calls on medical equipment. as assigned by the manager as per rota or as when required complete ad hoc assignments/tasks and other duties as assigned. Applicant should have:
4 Years of work experience with DAE in Biomedical / Electronics/ equivalent engineering field OR 2 years of experience with B. Tech Hons in biomedical /electronics/ equivalent engineering field considerable knowledge of electronic circuitry and ability to technical aspects of the operation, analyse. test, repair, and maintenance of electronic and electromechanical equipment substantial knowledge of basic anatomy. Physiology and medical terminologies basic knowledge of computer and applications (word. excel, power point) along with networking basic knowledge of current regulatory and safety requirements the ability to learn technical concepts, new skills, and knowledge quickly.

Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly grasp concepts and procedures. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
