• Min University Graduate
• Excellent communication skills and command over MS Office
• Knowledge of export documentation
• Minimum experience of 5 years with a logistics company, preferably freight forwarder

Age between 30-40 years.

• Place booking in the extranet and correspond with the buyer's import/export department.
• Follow up with the forwarder for vessel schedules and ensure to hand over goods to the forwarder.
• Correspond with buyers, C&F, Transport, and shipping lines independently.
• Ensure shipment schedules from logistics merchandising.
• Maintain good liaison with buyers, suppliers, forwarders, and banks to complete documentation on time for smooth export and import.
• Follow up on the commercial invoice, packing list, and detail-packing list for export.

Must have Logistic Manager experience in a reputable logistics company like Kuehne + Nagel (Pvt) Ltd, etc.

The suitable incumbent will manage all the shipping and logistics aspects of export local and overseas, managing the whole process from negotiating prices to ensuring goods arrive safely at the final destination.

• Manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country, and international law and process.
• Handle technical details relating to national/international transportation, customs regulations, and negotiating with custom clearing agents including freight forwarding companies.
• Efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services, and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy including sales tax calculations, processing, filling, and claims.
• Advanced level knowledge of national and international import/export legislation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation.
• Maintain records for accounting purposes in accordance with company procedures, including the checking of all invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations.
• Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant import/export activities and support in relation to the organization's sales, purchasing, materials management, production, and overall operating functions.
• Must have a complete working knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantee (BG) & Import and Export procedures/experience for handling of shipments.

This position is based in Quetta, Baluchistan. The Manager will be responsible for managing the transportation of cargo by trucks and handling customs clearance. Further prompt reporting and coordination with the head office will be necessary.
