As an Admissions Officer, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the admissions process and engaging with prospective students. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining detailed records of all visitors and incoming calls, ensuring comprehensive documentation for future follow-up. Serving as the initial point of contact for walk-in visitors, guiding them through the enrolment process and assisting with applications via our Admission Portal. Managing various administrative tasks related to admissions, including maintaining logs of giveaways, coordinating admission tests, and arranging open houses. Providing prompt and courteous assistance to callers on the Admissions landline number. Proactively following up with sign-ups and potential leads, guiding them through the application process, and converting them into final applicants. Responding promptly and professionally to inquiries received via email and official WhatsApp channels. Conducting outreach activities at colleges to promote our undergraduate programs and engage with prospective students. Organizing and conducting presentation sessions, events, and education fairs at various educational institutions and events. Assisting in the admissions process, including reviewing applications, verifying documents, scheduling tests and interviews, and issuing offer letters. Collaborating with internal departments to compile test results and coordinate fee invoicing for admitted candidates. Following up with admitted candidates, guiding them through the enrolment process, and ensuring a seamless transition to confirmed students. Undertaking any additional tasks assigned within a similar capacity. Requirements:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Previous experience in admissions, student recruitment, or related roles of at least 1-2 years. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and database management. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required. Deadline to Apply:

The Aga Khan University established the Center of Global Surgical Care (CGSC) with the primary goal of improving the provision of accessible, affordable, and quality surgical care in resource-constrained environments. To attain these goals, the CGSC is implementing a clinical training program to develop community surgeons with proficiency in the 28 emergency surgical procedures as defined by the Disease Control Priorities, volume 3 (DCP3), including key procedures that are not conventionally part of General surgery training programs. Additionally, trainees will have extensive instruction and experiential learning opportunities for skills related to the development of surgical systems in resource-constrained environments. The skills developed will allow trainees to become leaders in Global Surgery. You will be responsible to: participate in the care of a wide variety of essential and emergency surgical problems, in the disciplines of general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, plastic surgery, pediatric surgery, anesthesia, and radiology, and to follow these patients appropriately during the inpatient care under the concerned admitting/attending consultant be on call with a full-time faculty and would report to his/her faculty in matters arising on the call days provide assistance in OR/SDC session with supervising faculty engage in the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as assigned develop leadership skills pertaining to healthcare systems, delivery, financing, and community engagement through specific didactic modules conducted throughout the year engage in experiential learning by providing surgical care in lower-middle-income countries (LMICs). You should have: completed a surgery training program (minimum duration of 4 years) and be eligible for FCPS Part II or an equivalent international certifying examination appropriate credentials as a general surgeon, including but not limited to FCPS, FRCS, or ABS certification prior experience of working in a rural area (desirable).
