Job Background/Context: Controllers team needs support for daily report preparation while automation and streamlining are in progress. Key Responsibilities: Prepare MAS610 Monthly, Quarterly & Annual returns, including adjustments and financial consolidation at period-end; analyze financial results and investigate variances such as accounting issues and economic events. Monitor daily capital adequacy ratios, qualifying liabilities, asset maintenance ratios, and intra-group/intercompany ratios; prepare fortnightly submissions where applicable. Assist in the submission of the Annual Investment Abroad Survey. Essential Skills and Knowledge: Basic accounting knowledge Proficiency in MS Excel (functions like Sumif, Pivots, VLOOKUP) Experience with MS Access (database management) Desirable Skills and Qualities: Interest in Data Analytics Banking technical skills Understanding of accounting & finance Ability to work independently and proactively escalate issues Keen to explore automation opportunities and plan ahead for peak periods Willingness to cover colleagues' tasks in emergencies Qualifications:
