About the job: We are looking for a Cloud Architect who will be building and managing cloud infrastructures through the utilization of advanced technologies. What you will be doing: Design and build secure, highly scalable, multi-tier, single/multi-tenant cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, aligning them with the company's business objectives. Create and manage the cloud solution infrastructures with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform, PowerShell, ARM scripts and automating provisioning and deployment processes with CI/CD solutions such as Azure DevOps. Build fully automated CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes and improve the existing ones according to the latest technologies and project requirements. Implement and maintain robust security practices, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry standards and best practices for VeriPark solutions and projects. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, providing root cause analysis and preventive measures. Advise pre-sales & technical teams on best practice architectures for cloud solutions. This can be a reactive response to a customer need or request for proposals and includes participating in proof-of-concepts, making solution demonstrations, presentations, and preparing Azure consumption estimates for the proposed cloud solution architectures. Mentor and lead VeriPark project team members and customers to be proficient in delivering cloud-based solutions. Identify, build, drive programs and R&D studies to establish new technical practices and learn private or public preview cutting-edge technologies. Document and share designs, technical best practices/insights with internal teams. Maintain and advance technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with technology trends and competitive insights on cloud and on-prem technologies. There should not be any preventing factor for traveling abroad (0-30%). What we are looking for: 8+ years of relevant working and Microsoft Technologies experience. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience. Experience in building scalable, multi-tier and data-intense systems. 7+ years of experience in IT with: i. Minimum of 5 years of solution architecture/design experience ii. Minimum of 5 years of external client-facing advisory/consulting experience iii. Minimum of 3 years of Azure cloud experience. AWS experience is highly desirable. •
Deep understanding of core Azure services including: i.
Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, Load Balancers, Azure Storage, Azure Firewall ii.
Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory iii.
Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and Monitoring tools •
Experience with cloud migration projects, infrastructure planning, and enterprise cloud strategy. •
Proficiency in cloud security, identity, and access management principles. •
Strong communication and documentation skills. •
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification. Preferred Qualifications: •
Experience in hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-premises systems. •
Knowledge of automation tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or PowerShell. •
Familiarity with networking concepts (IPSec VPNs, ExpressRoute, DNS, NSGs). •
Background in industries such as finance, healthcare, or government is a plus.
