The designee will be responsible for managing the clinical monitoring process and the administration of clinical trials. Supervises CRAs in in-house and on-site monitoring, filing, and clinical trial administration. Plans, oversees, and executes bioequivalence studies and PK studies. Oversees adherence to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice, and FDA/MHRA/EMA regulations.
The position reports directly to top management.

Probationary period: 3 months.

Will perform a variety of tasks and lead and direct the work of others.

Job Description Design, implementation and supervision of agreed research methodology for crop estimation Contribution to the development of the research methodology and strategy. Continuous review of the methodology being applied in view of observations made during crop tours. Collection and evaluation of primary and secondary data and performing sanity check on databases and external sources to ensure consistency of data. Estimate cotton areas by collecting data from a) official sources regularly b) Confirmation of area estimates through visual estimation of area changes c) Farmer interviews d) Gathering of information from third parties like research institutes, Seed industry, Agri departments etc. Highlight the risks to the crop estimate by working out various scenarios. Assessment of the impact of various scenarios on yields and associated probabilities such as weather, pests, diseases and changing costs or supply of inputs or labor etc Close monitoring of weather developments and long term forecasts to update production estimates. Analyze trends, evaluate behaviors etc. and make appropriate conclusions. Conducting detailed cost of production studies. Communication of the findings in the form of well-argued crop tour report
Experience Masters in Agriculture (Specialization in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Horticulture) Strong working knowledge in MS office. Very possess strong analytical skills. Business presentation skills in English (written and spoken) Willing to travel upcountry on regular basis for crop tours and to supervise the implementation of crop estimation methodology. Preferably family background is agriculture. Punjabi language will be preferred. Minimum years of experience & CTC : 4+ years’ experience with the right skill sets

Implementation and supervision of Research projects, developing instruments for data collection and monitoring; sharing progress of the project, supervising data Management activities, coordinating with laboratory management forspecimen testing and reporting; developing SoPs for project and administrative processes and procedures to facilitate standardized practices at all field sites , hiring and training of staff as per projects requirements; evaluating the performance of staff and giving feedback, conducting internal audits for ongoing research projects and reporting to the Principal investigators with recommendations; hiring and training of research staff and physicians as per projects requirements; working closely with administrative staff to ensure discipline, sufficient supplies and optimal staff at the field sites on day to day basis; preparing and managing the duty rosters for all field staff on holidays or during tense city situations; observing, troubleshooting and reporting to higher management with solution for identified problems for efficient performances at field sites; liaison with community leaders, project stakeholders, funding agency, and project staff of all tiers to ensure smooth running of projects’ activities within the settings; preparation and compilation of study progress report; in collaboration with the Data Manager, produce monthly project reports; present the study results as per the requirement; development of PowerPoint presentations related to study design, implementation, results and share progress and findings of project at National and international forums; incumbent will be required to travel to different field sites within and outside Karachi; might require staying at remote locations as per the requirement of project activities. International travels will also be involved as per the requirement. Eligibility Criteria / Requirements: You should have: MPH / M.Sc. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics / M.Sc. in health policy and management / Masters in sociology; 10 to 15 years relevant research and health systems experience; superior project management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with exceptional attention; self-motivated with ability to operate autonomously with minimal direction from investigators; excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable in sharing progress and findings of projects at national and internal forums on behalf of Aga Khan University; high standard of professionalism and trust; experience in writing progress and technical project reports; good networking and interpersonal skills; familiarity with government health system; ability to plan field activities and/or complex tasks; capability to manage field team, work independently and take initiative; computer skills: MS Word, Spread sheets; good writing and speaking skills for English.
