We seek a technically skilled and proactive Quality Control Engineer to oversee process and control system projects—from integration and fabrication to testing and shipment—ensuring everything meets our high standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all QC-related activities, liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Develop inspection and test plans that ensure project quality and compliance.
- Lead pre-inspection meetings and coordinate inspection activities.
- Identify potential quality risks early and recommend effective solutions.
- Review and approve subcontractor QC documentation, including WPS, PQR, NDE procedures, and welding specifications.
- Verify that all materials conform to client specifications without shortcuts.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and document non-conformities accurately.
- Ensure calibration and testing equipment are maintained and functioning properly.
- Coordinate witness inspections and prepare inspection notifications.
- Review radiographic test reports and films.
- Prepare FAT procedures and oversee testing with Mechanical and E&I teams.
- Ensure smooth client handovers and punch list closures during FAT.
- Compile and maintain comprehensive MRBs and related documentation.
- Monitor quality throughout project execution and closure phases.
- Maintain professionalism, compliance, and proactive issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Degree from a reputable university.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- CSWIP 3.1 certification is mandatory; API 510/570 certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in skid fabrication, piping, structural work, and chemical dosing/water treatment packages is preferred.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, QE Energy, PDO, Shell standards is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of API, ASME, EN, AWS standards.
- Proficiency with P&IDs, GA drawings, and fabrication layouts.
- Excellent documentation, inspection, and reporting skills.
- ISO certification knowledge is a plus.
