Responsible for quality assurance for secondary manufacturing/formulations

To continuously review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements, and making recommendation for improvement as appropriate.

Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for a project meets requirements.

Review and approve Contractor and subcontractor quality control documentation to ensure their planned activities meet contractual requirements

To coordinate all activities required to direct and control manufacturing quality. In particular to review product quality requirements for individual clients and projects, to ensure those requirements are understood and implemented to manage the quality of manufactured items to meet the requirements of the contract specifications.

Manage and control all quality control activities in accordance with identified Quality Assurance standards, company procedures, client specifications and contract requirements.

Assist in production of generic and project specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments.

Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.

Meets quality assurance financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.

Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.

Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.

Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Job specifications are given below:

1. Responsible for regulatory requirements and their interpretation such as Current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory practices, Equipment purchase, calibration, repair and Maintenance, Stability Guidelines, Validation, Cleaning Validation, Facilities, and other requirements as they relate to the production processes, Product Development and Modification, In-process Control systems, complaint Handling, Packaging Engineering and Operations, identifying trends, recommendations for system improvement, Supplier Evaluation, Annual Contracts with the Suppliers, Use of statistical techniques for Data Analysis.
2. Responsible for Quality Planning, Organize, Direct, Control and Evaluate the activities related to the Quality.
3. Responsible for Quality Operations, Budgeting, Goal Setting of Quality Assurance Department.
4. Responsible to consult and negotiate with equipment vendors and suppliers to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present the Quality Reports and findings.
5. Responsible to assign, co-ordinate and review the Technical Work of the Department or project team.
6. Responsible for Recruit Personnel, Development and maintenance of staff competence in required area, Training and accomplishment of Technical Resources with a proven record in building and motivation of Quality Assurance Efforts.
7. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff, developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
8. Responsible to investigate system problems in order to recommend and implement solutions.
9. To establish and operate change control system to assurance compliance for the facility, equipment, processes and acceptance limits.
10. Responsible to handle the Quality Affairs of Toll Manufacturing.
11. Responsible to control the laboratory operations of the Micronutrient laboratory.
12. Responsible for research and development of new products comprising the Registration dossier, Material selections (Local and Import), Recipe Development, Trials preparation and their stability studies.
13. Responsible to execute the New Developed recipes at plant for Bulk Production.
14. Responsible for Modification and maintenance of existing formulations regarding the Quality Issues and economical aspects.
15. Responsible for the Formulations of the new products for different dosage forms of Pesticides, Especially EC, EW, OD, FS, SC, WP, WDG, WSG, WS, SP, SE, CF and SL etc.
16. Monitoring of all activities regarding new recipe development micronutrient products.
17. Responsible for development of analytical methods of Raw Materials, In process and finished Products.
18. Responsible for the Packaging Material Specification of all packaging components.
19. Responsible for Trainings of QA and plant staff.
20. Should have the strong knowledge and implementation skill as MR of International certification like ISO 9001:2008, 17025, 14000, OHSAS, EPA and others.
21. Responsible for the compliance of QMS, GMP and Regulatory audits.

Working Style: On-site, Full-time (Lahore)

The Quality Control (QC) Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, components, and finished products strictly meet quality standards. This role requires conducting inspections, performing tests, documenting results, and collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with both company and customer requirements.

• Inspect raw materials and incoming supplies to ensure quality compliance

• Conduct in-process quality checks during PCB assembly and material handling

• Test and verify products against defined specifications and engineering standards

• Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions

• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to resolve quality issues

• Maintain QC logs, reports, and inspection records

• Ensure final products meet customer requirements before dispatch

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to quality management systems

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Industrial mandatory)

• 2-4 years of experience in QC/QA , preferably in electronics or manufacturing industries

• Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and testing procedures

• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

To handle all QA related activities including preparation of quality plans and to make sure compliance of Quality Parameter.

Experience: 3+ years experience of managing/leading a QA Team.

Plus hands on experience of working within a QA team.

Desirable skills: Good decision making, problem solving and managerial skills. Ability to train the QA team to work efficiently and further enhance the team's development, to meet high quality standards. Good command of English both reading & writing.
