Job Description
Qualification:
- LLB (Hons) from a HEC recognized reputable institution
- 3+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law with a focus on international contracts.
- Prior in-house legal counsel experience or law firm experience handling corporate transactions.
- Excellent understanding of contract law, corporate law, and commercial transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, proactive mindset, and ability to work independentl-Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
Job Description:
International Contract Review & Negotiation:
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex international agreements (NDAs, SLAs, MSAs, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, etc.).
- Ensure contracts are legally sound and aligned with company interests.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, liabilities, and compliance issues.
Regulatory & Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws related to business operations.
- Assist in handling corporate governance matters, policy drafting, and risk assessments.
Dispute Resolution & Risk Management:
- Provide legal support on potential disputes, contract enforcement, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Work with external counsel when necessary for litigation support or arbitration cases.
Internal Legal Advisory:
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal implications of business decisions.
- Assist in company-wide policy creation, legal training, and awareness sessions.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Support the Legal Counsel in managing legal workflows.
- Guide Junior Legal officers in contract management where necessary
