Job Description
Qualification
- Bachelors in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, or Telecommunications. Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, or compliance within the telecom, media, or technology sectors.
- Preference for candidates with prior roles in: Telecom operators, PTA, MoITT, PEMRA, MoD & other relevant government regulators.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and presentation skills in English and Urdu.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Job Description
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and submitting periodic reports, compliance filings, and data submissions to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom, Pakistan Electronic Media and Regulatory Authority, Ministry of Defense and other regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory updates, directives, and policies impacting the telecom and media sector; communicate their implications to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of official correspondence, approvals, licenses, and NOCs.
- Facilitate coordination with government ministries, regulators, and other authorities to ensure timely acquisition of approvals, licenses, and clearances.
- Support in building and maintaining productive relationships with government officials, regulators, and industry associations to safeguard organizational interests.
- Collaborate internally with finance, technical, and commercial teams to gather, verify, and validate data required for regulatory submissions.
- Ensure timely submission of telecom indicators, compliance reports, and other obligations under TWA's licenses and regulatory framework.
- Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance across business units by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage regulatory databases, tracking obligations, submissions, and correspondences systematically.
- Provide administrative and coordination support, including logistics and communication, as directed by the HOD.
- Develop and maintain a control framework for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and license condition
