**Job Description Summary**
This position acts as the first point of interface, providing Contract Management functional support to Grid Solutions Business for the Grid Systems Integration Projects in Pakistan and other locations in MEA Region. It largely composes Contract Management through the OTR- Project Cycle from Project/s Award to Closeout, with occasional support to Commercial team in tendering (ITO) phase for key Complex Projects.
The role involves collaboration with multiple functions, stakeholders, and close working with project management teams.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Review of Tender/Contract documents and implement contract management systems, procedures and processes for effective Contract Management as laid out by the Company and best practices.
+ Support the tendering and operational teams with relevant CM inputs namely, Contract & Risk Analysis, Bid Clarifications & Correspondence.
+ Building awareness on contractual rights and obligations of Customer and Project stakeholders among the Operations/Project teams and providing comprehensive contract management support from Project/s start-up to closeout.
+ Ensuring that Contracts are duly performed and closed, with all contractual issues, fully resolved /settled.
+ Ensuring Project Plans are properly devised and implemented in coordination with the Planning & Controls Dept.
+ Ensuring that Extension of Time, Change Order and Claims entitlements are duly pursued to Company's benefit.
+ Supporting Project risk and opportunity identification, analysis and management in contractual perspective.
+ Preservation of Company's interests and entitlements under the Contract, by implementing effective Change Management, Claims Management and Dispute Resolution, strategy, procedures and processes.
+ Ensuring that all subcontracts are properly drafted (as per applicable company templates if any) and aligned with Main Contract terms and performed to the benefit of Company.
+ Supporting in drafting of Contract/ Subcontract documents, agreements and contractual notices, memos & correspondence as required.
+ Management of Project Insurances: Ensuring Project Insurances as per contract requirements are duly complied with and submission, monitoring and settlement of insurance claims in accordance with the policies.
+ Establishment and implementation of project specific CM procedures, tools, processes and registers, for logging / monitoring events, variation orders, claims, insurance, bonds, warranties, correspondence and notifications.
+ Support and guidance to Project/s on general / specific contractual issues.
+ Providing Contract Management support as required in respect of disputes.
+ Supporting the Projects and Operation Teams in Customer/ Vendor meetings and negotiations on contractual matters
+ Interfacing with related Project Management functions for CM inputs, data and feedback.
+ Assisting with ITO Review for critical tenders as may be directed by Region Contract Management Leader
+ Undertaking any other contractual/commercial /MIS /tendering tasks, as directed by the CM Leader.
**Required Qualifications**
+ University degree in Engineering and/or Quantity Surveying and/or Law and/or Business Administration.
+ Minimum 10 years' work experience and minimum 5 years' first-hand exposure in Contract Management roles in large complex infrastructure projects/businesses; EPC projects and Turnkey Power/Substation projects experience will be an advantage.
+ Knowledge in Contract Management, claims preparation and dispute resolution.
+ Working level understanding of business/commercial/contract law.
+ Technical understanding of scope and obligations.
+ Extension of time, variation orders/claims preparation and strategizing.
+ Experience of high intensity negotiations of contracts/claims.
+ Understanding of project risk management, planning, and controlling.
+ Very fluent in written and spoken English
