Key Accountabilities Grant Claims Processing: Enter claims in SAP based on the claim forms provided by coordinators for grant-related expenses. Documentation Support: Assist in compiling and completing the required documents for any grant as requested. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to lead our finance operations in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NBFC financial management , with expertise in regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and strategic planning. This role requires both hands-on execution and leadership skills to build a robust financial function that supports PalmPay’s expansion in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to management and group finance
  • Ensure timely reporting of all periodical financial information to internal and external stakeholders
Regulatory Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with SECP regulations and NBFC-related financial requirements in Pakistan
  • Supervise tax compliance, TDS/VDS deductions, and ensure proper filings with authorities
  • Liaise with auditors for internal and external audits, ensuring smooth and timely completion
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Monitor variances, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions
Treasury & Risk Management
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury operations
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through strong internal controls and risk management practices
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team in Pakistan
  • Work closely with Business, Product, HR, and Compliance teams to align financial goals with overall business strategy
  • Provide financial insights to support product operations and business development
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role within NBFC, fintech, or digital financial services
  • Strong knowledge of SECP regulations, tax laws, and NBFC accounting practices
  • Proven track record in financial reporting, audits, compliance, and treasury management
  • Proficiency in accounting/ERP software and advanced MS Excel
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Fluency in English and Urdu

Main Area of Responsibility

Owning the bank postings and bank reconciliations, management of intercompany recharges including the reconciliation of intercompany accounts. Month end processing of central costs including fixed assets

Accountability
  • Ensure cash is allocated daily per bank statements and ensure all bank accounts are reconciled on the WD1 for month end
  • Posting of intercompany recharge invoices
  • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
  • Management of period end central accruals including supporting schedules for the month end process including blackline reconciliation
  • Management of period end central prepayments including supporting schedules for the month end process including blackline reconciliation
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register including depreciation and amortisation in NetSuite
  • Support the team with dealing with and resolving supplier and customer queries through to resolution
  • Support the team with recurring customer billing, invoicing, credit notes and supplier invoices where required
  • Support the creation and maintenance of the A/R recurring and one-off DD collection file on a monthly basis, to be sent to manager for next stage processing
  • Support internal and external audit requirements for purchase and supplier information
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by management
Qualifications & Experience
  • Part qualified or finalist professional accounting qualification or 4 years' Bachelors in relevant field
  • Experience of working within a busy finance environment
  • Strong Excel skills are essential
  • Experience of accounting packages (NetSuite is beneficial)
  • A pro-active approach and good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail with an ability to prioritise work and be flexible
