  • Be able to work autonomously without supervision

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, business/economics or related field
  • 0-6 months work experience in analytics, having closely worked with product and commercials in an internet/e-commerce company
  • Experience in e-commerce, internet and/or digital media
  • Basic proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel
  • Skills in Python, R or similar tools are a big plus
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

Job Description As a Business/Market Intelligence Analyst at Kavak, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data to drive informed business decisions within the Growth team. This position requires exceptional analytical skills, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to align local and global objectives. You will be responsible for providing actionable insights that optimize operations, enhance customer experiences, and support strategic decision-making. This role involves working closely with internal teams across multiple departments as well as with global counterparts, ensuring cohesive execution of strategies that fuel Kavak's expansion. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, finance, product) and global teams to identify key business questions and translate them into actionable analytics projects. Perform data-driven analysis, leveraging insights from large datasets, including customer behavior, market trends, and competitor analysis, to support both local and global decision-making. Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights to leadership. Deliver regular reports and presentations, aligning local growth strategies with global objectives and highlighting opportunities, risks, and trends to support business planning and strategy development. Align closely with global teams to ensure consistency in reporting and analytics practices across regions. Conduct deep-dive analyses to explore new opportunities for business growth, while supporting regional teams with data that addresses local market needs. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by adhering to industry-standard protocols and compliance regulations. Work with external partners, and stakeholders, providing data-driven recommendations to improve their experience and drive mutual business growth. Stay up-to-date with global industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative solutions to improve Kavak's data and analytics capabilities. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role, preferably within e-commerce, classifieds, or automotive industries. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI, with experience applying these skills to both local and global contexts. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams, aligning local initiatives with global strategies. Solid understanding of business growth strategies, with a focus on translating data into actionable recommendations. Familiarity with the automotive or marketplace industry is a plus.
