Perform data extraction, cleaning, and transformation using SQL and Power Query.

The Role:
Working in an extraordinary hybrid team of Scopists and Editors, you will strive to craft transcripts of expert networks, corporate earnings calls, company conference presentations, shareholder meetings, merger/acquisition announcements and investor days that meets or exceeds our quality and timeliness benchmarks.
Work Shift:
This is primarily a night shift job, but depending on business requirements, you may be asked to work in an evening or morning shift.
The Team:
You are going to be working with a team that transcribes expert network or financial-related conference calls and assist in gathering business information and deliver real-time essential data to clients. You'll be joining a dynamic team of 250+ counterparts in global locations with countless opportunities to learn transferable skills & knowledge.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this role essentially lies in building publication-quality transcripts with high speed, multi-speakers and calls involving specialized terminology. In addition to transcriptions, the team will assist in the collection of other Business Information – private company profiles.
Each role is dependent on the other and should be coordinated precisely with the other team members in production of output You might be required to perform in either the role of a Scopist or Editor using real-time automated speech recognition technology and computer-aided transcription software to produce final output within set guidelines You may be asked to proof and/or edit work performed by other Editors or Scopists in order to meet quality control guidelines You will be collaborating with peers and Team Leaders to continuously improve the Transcriptions workflow process You shall be gathering relevant business information as required by S&P Global

Basic Qualifications & Skill Set:

**The Impact:** This role will influence transactions dataset. In addition to collecting and validating the data, this role may require working with peers, other stakeholders and on process improvement projects. This position is an excellent stepping stone to understand M&A, PO and PP domain, that will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding through financial reporting standards, and enable you to learn facets of corporate actions, and as well as apply this knowledge to your daily responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ High quality data collation, analysis, extraction and entering the data in work tools as per guideline specifications.
+ Extract and validate required information using search tools, press releases and websites, trade documents and regulatory filings
+ Understand the working of the dataset, be aware of the workflows and have strong working knowledge of work tools
+ Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
+ Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the dataset
+ Work on projects as an when they come up and ensure that they are completed within the given time span maintaining the desired quality
+ Troubleshoots problems or issues and provide support to the team
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ **BS & MS Accounting & Finance, BBA Finance, MBA Finance, ACCA Affiliate (Maximum 2 papers left in case of Finalist) or** **relevant accounting/finance degree**
+ **Fresh graduates or up to 6 months of relevant professional experience.**
+ Good research and analytical skills
+ Articulate and fluent communication
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Ability to work and communicate effectively with stakeholders globally
