We are seeking a warehouse operations manager to head the operations within our warehouse in Pakistan. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with quality control and shipment punctuality as primary goals, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, resource utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual account statements and reconciliations.
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and vendor relations.
- Manage logistics for transporting incoming products to our warehouse and outgoing container shipments; communicate with local suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure efficient transport of merchandise within required time frames to meet strict deadlines.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience in a warehouse lead role managing.
- 5+ years of experience with textiles and garments.
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
- Proficient in MS Excel and QuickBooks.
