Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies for reaching out to potential new students.
S/he will be part of designing and executing a variety of activities including Industry visits, organizing and attending Hotel & Tourism expos, conducting student workshops and parents’ sessions to facilitate relationship building and promote awareness about the Campus.
S/he will also be involved in devising various other plans to engage students to give them insight about the industry. Furthermore, the incumbent will be responsible for developing a detailed digital communication plan for prospective students and devising a strategy to engage prospective students using various digital mediums such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. The Incumbent will be directly reporting to Vice-Chancellor of the Campus.

OverviewDevelopment of technical academic excellence, market linkages, placement services and a continued effort to be market relevant would be especially in focus. The person selected would be expected to perform as a dynamic professional who understands the need for Technical Education and Vocation Training. Identification of new areas for technical and vocational interventions. Provide input to design, plan & monitor TEVT project strategies & activities. Provide input to develop strategy papers, analytical, progress & process reports. Coordinate with field offices, relevant district government departments, TEVTA, industries & civil society organizations. Proposal writing and budgeting of new projects and its activities in accordance with the current industry requirement. Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the Idara. Monitor the program activities on regular basis and conduct evaluation. Develop marketing strategies for promotion of technical and vocational training projects.
