Position Overview:

Transportation Support Specialist is responsible for managing and auditing all freight-related activities to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, shipment coordination, and post-shipment issue resolution. This role supports cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and project management by facilitating order management, verifying shipping data, and optimizing transportation solutions. What You Will Do as a Transportation Support Specialist:

• Complete auditing and reporting of all freight related invoices via Matched/Unmatched report and EDI portal, confirm invoices are ready for payment to carriers
• Manage day-to-day with 3 rd party auditor and internal finance team including solutioning issues with payments, late fees, file data
• Complete freight related cases returns, re-routes, claims cases. Returns cases are audited to ensure correct billing customer vs. Zones responsibility, best ship method, etc.
• Assists with department day-to-day email operations (tracking, quoting, fixing shipping errors, updating delivery requirements, etc.)
• Provide support for sales/PMO/Deployment with order management in CE to ensure orders can ship from TSC as needed.
• Post-shipment resolutions, i.e. serial number and tracking validation, package research, etc
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments (maintaining special project schedules as needed)
• Work with sales and Project managers to ensure orders are shipped in the most efficient and cost-effective ways possible
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary

• 1+ year(s) required of experience in transportation and warehousing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with, present information to, and respond to questions from team members, other departments, administrators, general public, customers, and contracted suppliers

3. Implementing a proactive risk management approach to prevent delivery delay, cost overcharges and quality non-conformance and understand the importance of seeking support before issues cause irreversible consequences.
4. Be on the search for new suppliers through different ways to prepare for potential future business demand.

Requirements:

1. Have 3 to 5 years working experience in a manufacturing company, covering the responsibility of sourcing or procurement, fan industry or related ones would be an advantage.
2. Proficient in ways to look for suppliers globally and evaluate their capability to fulfill our demand.
3. Understand the normal workflow within a factory from receiving sales order, planning, purchasing, manufacturing, quality assurance to final delivery to customer.
4. Have the skills for cost analysis and negotiation.
5. Ability to use MS Suite (Excel & Word), ERP (SAP) user experience would be an advantage.
6. Excellent English written and spoken skills are mandatory.
