KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Financial Due Diligence for our Deal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to Fortune 1000 companies and private equity investors
  • Manage and coordinate the approach of clients, KPMG's engagement teams, and third-party diligence providers throughout the transaction process
  • Manage staff in the field and in the office to provide real-time feedback and guidance to clients and diligence providers to help ensure timely and efficient product delivery
  • Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks impacting valuation and negotiation
  • Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues, including normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, and indebtedness considerations.
  • Lead and participate in people development and business development efforts
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in one of the following areas with a Top Ten public accounting firm: accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university or CPA eligible
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in project management, including the successful planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing of diverse teams, clients, and partners to ensure the on-time and within-budget completion of multiple high-impact projects
  • Strong current knowledge in one of the following areas: United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) financial reporting issues, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), mergers and acquisitions, or transaction services
  • Willingness and ability to travel

The opportunity (Assistant Director)

As we roll out ‘All In” across our firms, the PBFA function becomes even more critical to help maintain/improve profitability and provide strategic insights. The support role will be instrumental in helping the ASU PBFA Lead to carry out this role.

This role requires a finance professional offering support to the MENA ASU PBFA Lead on P&L analysis and other KPIs. The role will establish best in class support, functional expertise and reporting solutions with a particular focus on analytics and financial modelling.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop a good understanding of the PBFA cycle in a year, along with SL performance KPIs.

Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Other locations: Primary Location Only Date: 14 Aug 2025 Requisition ID: 1558947 The opportunity (Assistant Director) As we roll out ‘All In” across our firms, the PBFA function becomes even more critical to help maintain/improve profitability and provide strategic insights. The support role will be instrumental in helping the ASU PBFA Lead to carry out this role. This role requires a finance professional offering support to the MENA ASU PBFA Lead on P&L analysis and other KPIs. The role will establish best in class support, functional expertise and reporting solutions with a particular focus on analytics and financial modelling. Your key responsibilities: Develop a good understanding of the PBFA cycle in a year, along with SL performance KPIs. Conduct data analysis on large sets of data, to give leadership insights on performance and profitability, to drive business decisions. Lead in development of financial models for different scenarios to assess impacts of changing levers. Support Operations lead in the root cause analysis of variances and identification of possible solutions to resolve issues. With time, develop effective working relationships with the extended Finance team and ASU leadership team. Participate in various improvement initiatives and information gathering activities within PBFA space. Be the Go To Person for all analysis and financial modelling. Skills and attributes for success: Keen to solve problems and provide a credible solution. Ensure delivery of exceptional client service to all stakeholders. Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Good time management skills and able to balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance and level of urgency. Eagerness to learn quickly, be proactive and ask questions. To qualify for the role you must be: Willing to working in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic. Able to interact well with people at all levels within the firm and build strong relationships. Having strong knowledge of MS Office Packages. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI and Word in particular. Having excellent communications and organizational skills. Detail oriented and eager to analyze and solve complex cases Have a finance related degree or qualified accountant Have 5-7 years of relevant work experience Be innovative, confident and creative thinker with ability to make quick decisions.
