We are seeking a talented and knowledgeable IPTV Engineer to join our team. As an IPTV Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IPTV systems and services.

Your expertise in internet protocol television (IPTV) technology, video streaming, and network infrastructure will be instrumental in delivering high-quality multimedia content to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with IPTV platforms, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

1. IPTV System Design and Implementation:
   - Design and architect IPTV systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
   - Implement and configure IPTV components, including middleware, headend systems, streaming servers, and set-top boxes.
   - Integrate IPTV systems with other network components, such as content delivery networks (CDNs) and video-on-demand (VOD) platforms.
2. Video Content Management:
   - Manage and ingest video content into the IPTV system, ensuring proper encoding, transcoding, and metadata integration.
   - Develop and implement content delivery workflows, including live streaming and video-on-demand services.
   - Ensure compliance with content rights and DRM (Digital Rights Management) requirements.
3. Network Infrastructure and Integration:
   - Collaborate with network engineers to optimize network infrastructure for IPTV service delivery.
   - Configure and troubleshoot network protocols and components, such as IP multicast, VLANs, QoS, and routing.
   - Integrate IPTV systems with billing, customer relationship management (CRM), and other back-end systems.
4. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
   - Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the IPTV system, utilizing monitoring tools and analytics.
   - Proactively identify and resolve system issues, including network connectivity, service interruptions, and video quality problems.
   - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
5. Documentation and Collaboration:
   - Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and customer support, to ensure smooth system operation and user satisfaction.
   - Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and external vendors.

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. 3+ years of experience in IPTV system design, implementation, and maintenance.
3. Strong knowledge of IPTV technology, protocols, and standards, such as HLS, MPEG-DASH, IPTV over IP, etc.
4. Proficiency in streaming technologies and protocols, including RTSP, RTMP, and HTTP streaming.
5. Experience with IPTV middleware platforms, such as Minerva, Mediaroom, or Amino.
6. Familiarity with video codecs, transcoding, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
7. Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including IP networking, multicast, VLANs, and QoS.
8. Proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or Bash.
9. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
11. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
