What does FP&A Business Partner do?
- Collaborate with technology teams to formulate Capex business plans. This involves review of inputs received, substantiating through analytical procedures, setting projects timelines and ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Work in close collaboration with technology teams & other stakeholders for developing robust 0+12, Quarterly and rolling forecasts.
- Carry out investment appraisals, sensitivity and variance analysis to support management decision making ensuring efficient spend.
- Be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closing of Capex results of technology department.
- Spend analysis, Cost control and Reporting of key Capex items
- Maintaining complete track of CAPEX spend and projects
- Present monthly, Quarterly and annual projects status update in comparison to approved business case, highlighting gaps; and
- Advising management of adjustments & corrective actions required.
- Maintain project data in oracle and in liaison with approved business cases.
- Deal with budget owners to resolve their queries and provide visibility regarding Actual vs Budget spend, devising plans to close gaps, measuring exchange gain/loss impacts on budget, defining PR/PO timelines to ensure timely recording, discussion on monthly results & indicators, future forecasts & sensitivity analysis and required action plans.
- Liaison with Corporate Accounting/Shared services teams + Accrual Management.
- Coordinating with auditors, Consultants for audit and other assignments.
- Manage CWIP/Inventory against budget targets. Communication of agreed strategy & targets to stakeholders, working out MOM status and plans and ensuring compliance thereof.
- Manage P2P activities for technology function. A focal point between Technology, Vendors, SCM, AP & Tax teams for PR/PO issuance & invoice processing.
