Position Title: Software Development Lead (JAVA)

Salary Range: PKR 150 K to 300 K Job Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

Job Responsibilities:

• Defining the overall technical architecture for the application.
• Developing high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills

The Software Development Lead will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and developing a team of developers and QA engineers who develop IoT and/or cognitive applications using IBM Bluemix and IBM Watson.

The team contains a number of different types of roles including:

• iOS and Android developers to develop native applications
• Node.js developers to develop the backend of web and mobile applications
• Designers to create UI/UX of web and mobile applications

Support the Operations Lead to resolve any L3/L4 technical issues that arise in Production.

• 7+ years software development experience
• 2+ years experience in managing software development teams in an Agile environment with mixed skill sets (e.g., some backend, some front-end developers, etc.)
• 2+ years experience in a software architect role
• Experience with designing REST APIs
