A well growing pharmaceutical company required Product manager / Product specialist for Surgical Products Due to unprecedented growth within their existing customer product portfolio within the surgical market, this has created an opportunity for a Product Specialist to join their South region. Reporting to Business Unit Head, you will have full responsibility for effectively selling and promoting their extensive surgical product portfolio. The product portfolio has been sourced and manufactured to make the life in the operating theatre easier and more efficient for the customer. A strong technical background will be essential to the overall success of this role, as you will be presenting the products range of stakeholders both in the public and private sector. Previous sales experience within surgical medical devices will enable you to manage the South territory with a mixture of new business development. Core responsibilities: Develop and build effective long-term relationships with existing and new customers within assigned territory
Identify and meet with key customers regarding to product portfolio
Plan and organize South sales territory to ensure maximum and effective coverage
Provide technical support to both internal and external stakeholders where appropriate
Identify new business opportunities within territory and manage full sales cycle

The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Fellow Medical Officer, Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery.

You will be responsible to:

• perform initial assessment, document, and follow-up of patients before being seen by the Consultant
• attend to calls from the ER promptly
• perform a quick initial assessment and formulate a management plan of the patient in consultation with the Senior Fellow and Consultant on call
• assist/perform under supervision and document operative procedures in the OR
• perform procedures independently/under supervision as per competency list
• follow-up patients in the recovery room and hand over patients to recovery Room personnel
• perform daily ward rounds with the members of the team and communicate findings, assessment, and plan to the Consultant
• be available on the premises when on call and attend to all patient-related issues in the ER or ward
• hand over and take over charge from the departing team when there is a change in duties on call
• facilitate learning of students, interns, residents and other health care professionals at all levels
• design clinical research appropriate to the level of training.

You should have:

• an MBBS from an institution recognized by PMDC
• FCPS Part II or equivalent in General Surgery
• four years of training in General Surgery in an accredited and reputable programme
• competence in common general surgical procedures
• strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Conduct studies of indicators by collecting data, analyzing it and make recommendations
• Identify inter-departmental gaps OR/RR/SDC/CSSD and work on them to improve patient flow.

You should have:

• a Bachelor’s degree, Master's preferred or equivalent qualification in a related area
• 3 – 5 years of related work experience preferably in an Operating Room
• ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently and handle work pressure
• knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint
