Position Summary

Responsible for fresh milk & agri. raw materials sourcing to achieve business targets through implementation of good farm & sustainable agriculture practices.

A day in the life of.

• Driving agriculture extension and development activities in the region
• Achieving business results through sourcing
• Development of sustainable direct source in the region
• Acting as an advisor and subject matter expert to guide suppliers on modern farming techniques to enhance productivity, quality and profitability.
• Supporting Regional Agri Sourcing Manager in developing strategies for fresh milk/agri. raw materials
• Collaborating with Farmers, Government officials, NGOs, and other organizations for the development of farmers & livestock
• Coaching, training & development of farmers/MSAs
• Ensuring implementation of Nestlé initiatives in sourcing of fresh milk/Agri raw material

Position Summary

A day in the life of.
• Ensuring availability and sourcing of quality fresh milk / Agri raw materials and effective usage of all available resources
• Driving regional operations to ensure KPIs achievement
• Preparing business forecast for quality fresh milk and Agri raw materials sourcing. Subsequently creating alignment and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
• Guiding regional and cross functional teams to ensure implementation for driving sustainable initiatives in agriculture farm activities and the value chain
• Acting as an advisor to Agriculture Services function in developing effective strategies for fresh milk/ Agri raw material volumes & supply as per business need.
• Leading people management affairs in the region in light of procedure and guidelines provided by company to ensure personal and professional development of team members

Position Purpose:
The candidate will be responsible for expanding and enriching our truly global network that is spread across 90 countries in 75+ Datacenters. The candidate must have strong knowledge of how global peering and IP transit services work. They will need to optimize existing infrastructure in terms of hops and connectivity with Tier-1 networks to ensure the best service delivery and feature enrichment based on customer demand and competition advancements. Job Responsibilities:

• Must have a thorough understanding of the global state of the Internet, Tier-1 carriers, global IXs, PoPs, and related terminologies. Must have strong enough R&D skills to assess global Datacenters networks, locate, and discuss performance degradation from various regions around the world.
• The person in this role will be responsible for the development and execution of sourcing and performance management of service provider/carrier suppliers, as well as working closely with our Systems team to ensure capacity objectives are met for our global network infrastructure.
• Lead the supplier selection process; negotiate contracts for new network access equipment, IP, transit, bandwidth, and colocation services.
• Develop and manage key performance metrics for all suppliers in the service provider/carrier category.
• Based on our internal systems and network stats, understand current and future requirements and develop scalable and cost-efficient solutions for our global network, as well as ensure invoices and payments are aligned with commercial terms.
• Monitor new technologies and industry trends and develop recommendations for senior management.
• Research, develop, and document new products and tools as necessary.
• Competitors' network analysis and comparison with our global network.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field experience.

• 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
