Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain bookkeeping records for multiple UK clients using Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel
  • Record purchase invoices, sales invoices, bank transactions, journals, and adjustments
  • Perform bank reconciliations and control account reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit VAT Returns via appropriate accounting software
  • Prepare and submit CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) returns for relevant clients
  • Assist in producing management accounts and year-end accounts
  • Liaise with UK-based clients to resolve data queries and manage deliverables
  • Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping services in line with UK accounting standards
  • Candidate Requirements:
  • ACCA Affiliate (or equivalent qualification)
  • 3–4 years of practical bookkeeping experience for UK clients
  • Proficient in Sage, QuickBooks (Online & Desktop), and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of UK VAT and CIS return processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
