About the role As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, you'll serve as the technical liaison between the sales team and prospective clients. Your primary responsibility is to understand client needs and demonstrate how the company's CPaaS/SaaS solutions, enhanced by AI capabilities, can address those needs effectively. This role involves crafting tailored solutions, delivering compelling demonstrations, and ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation. The role is based in Riyadh onsite, so you will already be based in Saudi Arabia. The role will building industry specific use cases utilizing CEQUENS products and solutions showcasing the value and impact of the CEQUENS platforms. The right candidate will excel in a customer facing high performance team to collaborate and win joint opportunities with sales and customer success. It will lead on RFP/RFI submissions and act as liaison between different departments to cover technical and business requirements to ensure best optimal results achieved. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement:

Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and present tailored solutions that leverage the company's CPaaS/SaaS offerings, including AI functionalities. Solution Design:

Analyze customer needs and design appropriate solutions that integrate seamlessly with their existing systems and workflows. Demonstrations & Proof of Concepts (PoCs):

Develop and deliver product demonstrations and PoCs to showcase the value and capabilities of the solutions. Technical Documentation:

Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and other documentation to support the sales process. Collaboration:

Work closely with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development. Market Awareness : Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging AI technologies in the SaaS and CPaaS space. Essential Skills & Qualifications Technical Proficiency:

Strong understanding of SaaS and CPaaS architectures, APIs, and integration methods. AI Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of AI concepts and models, including various Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications. Communication Skills:

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

The Solution Engineer will support the architecture and development of Industry 4.0 solutions, leading our customers through digital transformation in industrial analytics, operations, and security. Key responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, designing innovative technical solutions, and preparing and presenting proposals.

  • Coordinate with Solution Consultants, Account Managers, and Sales Teams to ensure timely and quality solution proposals and support bidding processes.
  • Assist in developing solution presentations and participate in site surveys and requirement workshops as needed.
  • Respond to proposal requests and support bid preparations, ensuring compliance with internal and customer requirements related to Analytics, Digital Operations, and Cybersecurity.
  • Review, evaluate, and summarize complex software project terms, liaising with subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate with internal product specialists to prepare demonstrations and proofs of concept to support pre-sales activities.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize techniques, methods, and tools to improve efficiency and support knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with technology partners for solution development and identify new potential partners.
  • Contribute to solution architecture and business development functions, supporting marketing collateral development.
  • Design solutions based on customer scope and assist in packaging solutions.
  • Develop technical designs and support the sales and BD teams with proposal documentation.
Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

Technical Skills

  • Engineering/Software degree with 3+ years of experience in Industrial Automation and Digitalization in industries like manufacturing, petrochemicals, oil & energy, or utilities.
  • Basic knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies.
  • Experience in Industrial IoT solutions design, application development, and deployment is preferred.
  • Understanding of Data Management, Digital Operations, and Cybersecurity product portfolios.
  • Basic knowledge of Automation and Control Systems such as MES, Historians, Reporting Tools, and Alarm Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with OT-IT integration technologies like OPC, MQTT, REST APIs, and Web Services.
  • Experience with industrial analysis and historian software (e.g., OSIsoft, Aspen InfoPlus, FactoryTalk) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data integration techniques and the PURDUE Model layers.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles in networking.
  • Basic experience with databases like SQL/MySQL.
