Role Overview
The Shipping Manager will be responsible for managing all international shipping operations (export), with a strong focus on express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.) and air cargo exports. Key Responsibilities
Export Operations & Shipment Management
- Plan, organize, and manage daily express courier and cargo shipments for international orders.
- Arrange bookings with freight forwarders, airlines, shipping lines, and express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling of goods to meet international standards.
- Track shipments from dispatch to delivery; proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or compliance issues.
- Coordinate with production and sales teams to align shipping schedules with order deadlines.
Export Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading, certificates of origin, Form-E, export contracts, and insurance certificates.
- Ensure strict compliance with Pakistan Customs, FBR, TDAP, State Bank E-Form submissions, and importing country regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive export records for compliance, audits, and reporting.
Freight Handling, Negotiation & Cost Management
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with couriers, forwarders, and carriers for both express and cargo shipments.
- Monitor freight invoices, demurrage/detention charges, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Stay updated with tariffs, duties, and global trade regulations; adjust processes to remain compliant.
- Optimize logistics costs without compromising service quality.
Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the point of contact for shipment-related queries, claims, and escalations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with couriers, forwarders, shipping agents, and customs officials.
Team & Process Management
- Supervise and train dispatch/shipping staff on export documentation, customs requirements, and shipment handling.
- Implement and improve SOPs to maximize efficiency and accuracy in export operations.

Reporting & KPIs
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on express and cargo shipments, including:

Required Qualifications
