- Solid understanding of structured Quality Assurance Methodologies as well as Use Case Definition, Quality Attributes and Business Process Flows
- Development and project management experience is a plus

This is an executive level position. The prospect will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Quality Assurance. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

1. Evaluating each and every agent on their assigned project every month by using the standard QA evaluation form.
2. Providing feedback to the agents he evaluates by coaching them on their weak areas in the training & coaching sessions.
3. Evaluating every agent on the assigned project >= 12 times / month to ensure the evaluations of every agent are done using the standard evaluation form & by updating their assignments.
4. Providing qualitative & quantitative feedback for every assigned agent periodically & month end for the Bonus report by writing their comments on the bonus report against each agent.
5. Conducting monthly Calibration & Training sessions by sending the recordings one day prior and discussing the calls & general feedback in the sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in application planning meetings.
• Ensure data integrity standards.
• Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.
• Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing and automated testing tools.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Conduct performance and/or security audits.
• Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
• Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
• Write/review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Education: BCS, BSSE, BIT or any other equivalent degree.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the quality evaluation and reporting of bugs and non-confirming elements of the assigned software projects in a specified time frame.
- Create project work plan in coordination with the Product Manager/Asst. Product Manager.
- Update the project work plan on a daily basis with both planned and unplanned activities.
- Provide input to the project plan in terms of time estimates required for QA/QC related activities.
- Maintain and update standard test cases.
- Verify the standard test cases as applied by the development team.
- Acquire understanding of domain knowledge/business logic and prepare functional test cases in coordination with the Product Manager/Asst. Project Manager.
- Report bugs and enhancement-related suggestions and verify them to make them ready for delivery and categorization of bugs according to their significance.
- Maintain bug reports using the Test Director and releases on VSS Server.
- Verify the projects and patches as received for the first time or against the bugs after evaluating the project on standard as well as functional test cases and acquire next iteration date from the development team.
- Verify issues/operational problems reported by the client/operations/stakeholders.
- Test deployment package for fresh installation as well as for the upgrade.
- Provide training to operations on patch/new releases.
- Execute automated test scripts.
- Keep track of the number of bugs reported in each category and prepare project reports specifying statistical data of bugs.

Qualifications:
- Experience in Development/software configuration and testing.
- At least one year (01) of experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of Black Box Testing, Smoke Testing, Integration, Regression Testing, and other test types.
- Excellent database concepts with hands-on experience on SQL Server 2005/2008.
- Hands-on knowledge about bug testing tools such as Mantis, Bugzilla, Test Director, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve as a mentor for developers.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong team player with the ability to lead.
