The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Designer with a passion for both user experience and brand identity. This role is crucial in shaping the visual language and user journey of our wearable lifestyle products and overall brand. You will work closely with our engineering team to translate complex features into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces, while also contributing to the overarching visual identity of Dexses.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces (UI) for our wearable companion apps (iOS and Android).
• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and user interactions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing (as needed) to inform design decisions and iterate on product experiences.
• Ensure designs are consistent with Dexses's brand guidelines and provide a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to the refinement and application of Dexses's visual brand identity across various touchpoints.
• Develop design assets for marketing materials, website, and social media, ensuring brand consistency.
• Assist in creating visual guidelines for brand elements, including typography, iconography, and imagery.
• Collaborate on logo application and ensure its effective integration into product and marketing visuals.
• Work directly with the engineering team to ensure design feasibility and proper implementation.
• Present design concepts and solicit feedback from stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging design trends.

Qualifications:

• Current Undergraduate Student:
  Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (2nd year or later preferred).
• Portfolio:
  A strong online portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects, visual design skills, and a keen eye for aesthetics. Projects demonstrating an understanding of brand identity are a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Design Principles:
  Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and visual design fundamentals.
• Attributes:
  Detail-oriented, proactive, excellent problem-solver, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

About Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic design and engineering team in Karachi, Pakistan or on Hybrid / Remote Position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design within the industrial, oil & gas, or petrochemical sectors, and possess a strong command of engineering standards, codes, and software tools relevant to the industry.

This position offers the opportunity to work on major regional projects and occasionally travel to GCC countries to support technical and design coordination activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute piping and mechanical design and engineering tasks for industrial and oil & gas projects.
• Develop detailed designs, layouts, calculations, and specifications in accordance with international standards and client requirements.
