Senior Full Stack Developer (Backend-Heavy | NestJS + PostgreSQL) – Remote (Pakistan)

We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Backend-Focused ) to join our engineering team in building a scalable regtech , fintech and accounting services platform. Your primary responsibility will be designing and building robust, distributed backend services using NestJS , along with deep integration into PostgreSQL , AI agents, and cloud-native infrastructure on GCP .

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop modular, maintainable backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
• Build and document secure RESTful APIs with best practices in versioning, error handling, and authentication
• Design and implement event-driven communication with NATS , Redis Pub/Sub , or similar
• Optimize performance and maintain data integrity with advanced PostgreSQL usage (indexes, views, CTEs, partitioning)
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions , Docker , and Terraform

Required Skills

• Expert in NestJS , Node.js, and backend architecture patterns
• Proficient in event-driven systems, message queues, and service communication

Database:

• Deep experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, performance tuning

DevOps / Infrastructure:

• Strong command of Git, Docker , and CI/CD tooling (especially GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on experience with deploying services on GCP
• Familiar with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ensure high availability, observability, and reliability in production environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with fintech, compliance, accounting (ERP)
• Familiarity with Firebase, Keycloak , OAuth2 , or FusionAuth
• Understanding of event sourcing, CQRS, or domain-driven design principles
• Experience in building middleware API layers to encapsulate third-party API's integrations, ensuring data security, consistent UX, and platform ownership

Your New Role :

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Familiarity with cloud database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner) and hybrid environments.
