- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Manage plant budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and company policies.
- Implement and maintain safety and environmental management systems.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure business success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a related field.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or other manufacturing software.
