Engineering graduate from HEC recognized university preferably in Mechanical / Electrical / Petroleum and Gas / Chemical with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Registration with PEC is mandatory for Engineers.
Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to conduct & supervise all operation and maintenance tasks on SSGC Gas Transmission Network in assigned region, headquarter, office for the smooth to ensure uninterrupted supply of natural gas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare Gas Pipe Line O&M plan and implement it accordingly
- Conduct pressure profiling on technically key station as routine work
- Conduct leakage survey of installation as per SOPs and its rectification and post leakage survey to carry out maintenance activities and rehabilitation
- Maintain requested pressure by distribution occasionally and monitor delta differential pressure across filter separators and scrubbers and controls
- Install new SMS and regulation station and ensure servicing & greasing of control valves and regulator.
- Arrange oil level checking and maintenance of auto actuated valves and calibration of safety valves, pressure gauges and pressure controller in MPL
- Repair & replace defective valves, control valves, pressure controller and gauges and arrange timely replacement of filter elements to quality gas to customer
- Ensure maintenance of control instruments at SMS, Filter separator, MPL-I regulator set up & inter connection valve
- Optimization use of budget and managing store items providing support to gas control in respect of UFG analysis
- Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
- Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
- Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
- Perform daily administration jobs related to HQs.
- Maintain HQ installations with regards minor repair and part job.
- Follow HSE procedures being HSE zonal team leader.
- Perform any other task assigned by senior management.

- Support development of plans for expansion & rehabilitation of network and supervise the installation & commissioning tasks on the network related to section.
- Manage, motivate and train the department’s staff.
- Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
- Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
- Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
