Responsibilities:
  1. Develop the overall brand strategies in Pakistan, including localizing global brand strategies from HQ.
  2. Identify and select the best media resources, celebrity resources, and co-branding resources to implement brand strategies.
  3. Co-operate with the department manager to set up department structure and working processes.
  4. Build good and healthy relations with stakeholders, including media and business partners.
  5. Monitor, manage, and evaluate the execution of all brand activities, including ATL and BTL.
  6. Localize Visual & PR materials provided by HQ and provide key opinions and advice to relevant colleagues.
  7. Lead the team and coach the team when needed.
Job Specification

Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor's degree or above in business, marketing, journalism, or related subjects; overseas education is a plus.

Language:
Native speaker; fluency in Mandarin or English is mandatory.

Experience:
Minimum 7 years of practical and managerial experience in marketing/branding field; MNC background preferred.

Communication:
Good communication skills in cross-cultural and cross-departmental coordination contexts.

Personality:
Good team leader; driven, self-motivated, and willing to embrace a diversified culture.

Knowledge:
Solid knowledge about local media, creativity, and brand activation knowledge.

Willing to travel worldwide for business trips and willing to work in Karachi or Lahore (depends on company requirements).

Position Overview:

PEB invites applications for the position of Executive Director Designate , who will collaborate with the current Executive Director during a planned leadership transition. This transitional role is designed to ensure continuity, knowledge transfer, and alignment with the vision and mission of the organization. The Designate will assume full responsibilities as Executive Director upon the conclusion of the transition period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in strategic planning processes with the Board and senior leadership.
  • Learn and understand the operational framework, priorities, and partnerships of PEB.
  • Prepare to lead the organization in accordance with its mission and future goals.
  • Work closely with the current Executive Director to understand key operational, financial, academic, and donor-related functions.
  • Build relationships with internal staff, school heads, church partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Gradually assume increasing responsibilities to ensure a smooth leadership handover.
3. Organizational Oversight (Post-transition)
  • Provide executive leadership to PEB’s educational institutions, programs, and initiatives.
  • Guide strategic decision-making, policy development, and program implementation.
  • Represent PEB in national and international forums and partnerships.
  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting during the transition.
  • Engage with local and international donors, church bodies, and grant agencies.
  • Ensure transparency and sustainability of financial practices.
5. Educational Excellence & Values
  • Promote high standards in academic performance and teacher development.
  • Ensure that Christian values are reflected in the ethos and practices of PEB schools.
