This role is critical in ensuring the security, resilience, and efficiency of HugoBank’s core and branch connectivity, including management of campuses, data connectivity, network security, and vendor performance
- Design, implement, and manage the end-to-end network architecture and topology across HugoBank’s OnShore (Pakistan) and OffShore (Singapore) environments.
- Lead the planning, deployment, and operation of campus networks, including switches, routers, access points, and physical infrastructure.
- Ensure robust network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN configurations.
- Manage and optimize MPLS networks and other enterprise WAN/LAN solutions for cloud service providers and data centers connectivity.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including coordination with service providers, ensuring SLA adherence, escalation management, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct network assessments, plan capacity upgrades, and manage redundancy and failover mechanisms.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and security policies.
- Collaborate with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with SBP guidelines and timely closure of regulatory findings related to network infrastructure.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for all network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and fast resolution.

- While AWS networking experience (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect) is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience managing complex enterprise networks, preferably in the financial services or fintech sector.
- Strong hands-on experience in designing and managing MPLS, LAN, WAN, VPNs, and VLANs in multi-site environments.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles and tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure tunneling).
- Proven experience with vendor and SLA management, including performance tracking and escalation handling.
