As the Network Support Engineer, it is necessary to be a confident communicator and that you are well-organized as you will be dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Act as the first point of contact for all technical queries.
• Resolve issues when appropriate and escalate when required.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure issues are followed up and resolved according to SLAs.

We are looking for a Jr. Network support person having experience of performing the following activities:

Summary: This is an entry-level position in the TAC department. You will be working as part of a worldwide professional support team and your basic duty would be to resolve customer issues through email, phone, and remote support sessions as per the set SLAs.

1. Set up, test, administer and troubleshoot network issues.
2. Work with all major networking vendor equipment including CISCO, Ubiquiti, Ribbon, and others.
3. Monitor and keep track of all services and monitoring tools e.g., Zabbix, Netbox, and others.
4. Create and update network documentation/diagrams for network implementations.
5. Setup, deploy and troubleshoot VOIP phones and related services.
6. Manage, administer, test, and troubleshoot CISCO Catalyst switches and ISR appliances systems.
7. Work with virtualization technologies i.e., VMWare, Citrix, and Hyper-V.
8. Set up and administer Active Directories and server roles.
9. Setup and maintain Google Workspace, Exchange, IIS, SharePoint, print servers, and SQL.
10. Keep client software and servers up to date.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s in Engineering related studies (CS, Telecom, Electrical, etc.)
2. Fresh to 1 year of similar experience
3. CCNA and MCSE preferred

The Candidate should have sound knowledge of major brands deployment like Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, and Ubiquiti Networks. Knowledge of comparative study to pick and recommend optimal products among different brands is required. Relevant certifications, such as CCDP, will be an added advantage. The candidate should be able to work in a multivendor environment and have a result-oriented approach. The candidate should be able to drive projects independently and have experience in product integration with NMS, directory systems, SSO, etc. Expertise in network resource optimization and troubleshooting techniques at lower levels with root cause analysis is essential.

Driving skills and own conveyance are a must.
