About the Position : We are seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer to join our Lahore office. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. This is an onsite role with rotating shifts.
Responsibilities- Network Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and implement network solutions in line with organizational needs.
- Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network performance, ensure optimal operation, and resolve any network-related issues promptly.
- Security Management: Maintain and implement network security protocols, including firewall configurations, and ensure systems are protected from cyber threats.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed logs of network configurations, changes, and performance issues, and generate reports for management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to resolve issues, implement network enhancements, and support projects that require network connectivity.
- Incident Response: Respond to network outages and incidents promptly, investigating root causes and implementing corrective measures.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
- Proven experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE-1, NSE-2, NSE-3, NSE-7, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
