Controllers team needs support for daily report preparation while automation and streamlining are in progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare MAS610 Monthly, Quarterly & Annual returns, including adjustments and financial consolidation at period-end; analyze financial results and investigate variances such as accounting issues and economic events.
- Monitor daily capital adequacy ratios, qualifying liabilities, asset maintenance ratios, and intra-group/intercompany ratios; prepare fortnightly submissions where applicable.
- Assist in the submission of the Annual Investment Abroad Survey.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Excel (functions like Sumif, Pivots, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with MS Access (database management)

Position Overview Financial and Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of complete and comprehensive financial and regulatory reporting and analysis, in line with internal policies and external regulatory, statutory, and control frameworks. Work includes: Managing accounting and financial risk and providing advice on strategic initiatives and new products impacting entities, processes, and utilities. Collaborating with stakeholders to provide financial reporting and analysis, representing their functions in internal and external forums. Developing innovative business solutions and providing strategic guidance to support business strategies, risk mitigation, and achieving organizational objectives. Executing end-to-end process of financial statements as per local requirements. Ensuring timely and accurate regulatory reporting; acting as backup when needed. Ensuring Key Operating Procedures (KOPs) for regulatory reports are in place and improving Validation & Control (V&C) for reports. Coordinating with external, regulatory, and internal audit teams for audit issues.
