We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Finance Technology Delivery team as we intensify the pace of innovation and support future growth through technology solutions. The Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting mission-critical integrations between source data with financial SaaS and custom applications.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and support infrastructure for modern, mid-scale, highly resilient, distributed messaging and services, tools, and applications for use by internal teams and external customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with your team to own solutions through the entire SDLC including design, implementation, deployment, testing, quality, security, compliance, monitoring, and support, while targeting operational excellence.
  • Implement build, deployment, and test automation to ensure high quality and enable continuous delivery.
  • Adjust positively to quickly changing priorities and shifting goals while striving for continuous improvement of code quality, infrastructure, development, and operational practices.
  • Assist the team in identifying and monitoring key metrics to support operational excellence of active systems.
  • Provide general infrastructure support for maintenance and compliance, e.g., server patching, monitoring, and audit report generation.
  • Mentor team members and raise the overall technical knowledge across the spectrum.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of IT concepts, issues, trends, and best practices related to Cloud technologies and system integrations.
  • Apply and share knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows infrastructures with deep expertise in OS updates, patching, and optimization, especially Oracle.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Bash/Python for managing infrastructure in Linux and Unix environments.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix shell commands for managing infrastructure resources via CLI.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and deployment systems like Chef, Puppet, Ansible is a plus.
  • Experience with deploying and managing immutable infrastructure pipelines is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including serverless and managed database services.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with multiple persistence technologies such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, AWS DynamoDB.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in enterprise or high-scale environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Shift & Handover Requirements
  • This role involves working in rotational shifts, with flexibility to adjust timings based on business needs.
  • Proper handovers are required at shift end for workflow continuity.
  • Coordination with the next shift team member is essential.
