It is a remote support role, assisting our UK-based operations and admin team with coordination, communication, and job management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to courier quote requests (via email, Calls and internal systems)
- Help prepare and send delivery quotations, follow up with customers, negotiate rates, and confirm bookings aligned with company goals
- Manage jobs on our partner platforms
- Liaise with drivers, track jobs, and update systems accordingly
- Communicate with customers regarding job progress
- Assist with invoicing, data entry, and basic admin tasks
- Support the UK operations team with real-time updates and coordination
- Support the team in building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships

The Senior Manager Transport & Logistics Operations is responsible for ensuring
end to end process and performance consistency
for all logistics services provided for the goods shipped from the factory to destination ports. The role will also work proactively with various stakeholders to take the
lead in the design, development, execution and performance of the inbound logistics

Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manage the smooth execution of all factories to destination port logistics operations and to ensure that the defined logistics SOPs are followed diligently by the 3PL partners.
- Proactively evaluate the performance and execution of the end-to-end global transportation activities (ex-factory to Destination) across different ship modes are and provide an executive summary to Management where issues, process development or re-engineering is needed.
- Establish continuous improvement process/performance reviews with the markets, factories and the LO to drive operational efficiency related to transport logistics.
- Set-up and maintain effective communication, collaboration and relationship between Markets, 3PL, carriers, LO and the factories.
- Ensure awareness of all logistics market developments. Collect market information and share to enable the team to take pro-active actions to minimize/mitigate risk of delivery delays.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company code of conduct in the responsible cluster.
- Work in partnership with the 3PL and review, translate the GOPS Strategy (SCM/Sourcing in Particular) and define a continuous improvement road map. Align with respective leadership functions within adidas and execute accordingly.
- Ensure that process requirements and service deliverables are documented in Standard Operating Procedures and/or Service Level Agreements with respective stakeholders and ensure that the agreed processes and service are implemented and executed successfully in the day-to-day operations and within the scope of contractual agreements.
