Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Higher Education Consultant located in Lahore. The Higher Education Consultant will be responsible for advising students on educational opportunities and admissions processes for various international universities. Daily tasks include conducting consultations, assessing student profiles, providing tailored recommendations, maintaining communication with students, and delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree (4 years completed).
At least 2 years of proven experience in education counseling/admissions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work onsite at our office location.
Knowledge of UK, USA, Europe, and Italy higher education systems preferred.

An Education Consultant / Counselor is required for Next Step Educational Consultants. The company is running its Head Office in Lahore and requires a consultant for its regional office in Faisalabad. Consultancy experience is a plus but fresh candidates are also encouraged as training will be given to the incumbent. The candidates who are fluent in English language will be given preference.

Job Description

• Manage all counseling related tasks liaising with the student counselors including consultation, searching courses online, hosting expo and exhibitions, visiting institutions and assisting walk-in customers.
• Ideal candidate must be keen to promote IELT’s, TOEFL and other training courses to the clients. Excellent communication skills together with the drive to learn more to increase interpersonal skills is vital.
• Responsible for providing effective and efficient use of the given resources.
• Advising potential students on higher education opportunities, suitable programs and information regarding their eligibility criteria.
• Maintaining individual client files and logs, and managing client communication for all counselling products including undergraduate, graduate, MBA, school abroad, foundation, and college road map student advisory program.
• Inquiring new leads of students and promoting the business to increase clients.
• Answering and solving inquiries of potential students.
• Providing updated information to students about new scholarships and special offers in a timely manner.
• Interacting and cooperating with the staff of the Head Office in Lahore.

11. Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and other education-related organizations to stay updated on program offerings and opportunities.
12. Represent StudyNova Education Consultants at educational fairs and events.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, BBA, B-Com, BA, or a related field (a master's degree is a plus).
2. Previous experience in international education counseling, student advising, or a related field will be an added advantage.
3. Strong knowledge of foreign universities and their admission processes.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Empathy and cultural sensitivity to effectively support students from diverse backgrounds.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
7. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
8. Experience in Digital Media Management, including various digital platforms like Facebook, Instagram, etc.
