  • Define standardized formats for documentation, including naming conventions, versioning, and update logs.
  • Implement hierarchical structuring, tagging, and indexing for enhanced searchability and organization.

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure documentation remains current and relevant.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and updates to align documentation with software development changes.

4. Integration with Development Workflow

  • Automate documentation updates by integrating with version control platforms (GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Maintain detailed changelogs to track software updates and modifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical writing within a software development environment.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, GitBook, Notion, or Read the Docs .
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and structured documentation.

1. Develop a research and documentation strategy and its implementation for ITA teams in Pakistan/Regions.

2. Director Research will manage all aspects of the research projects.

3. The Director will spearhead the long-term research objective of the ITA, provide consultation and support to key evaluation components of the ITAs programs, and disseminate research findings.

4. The Director will contribute to the ITAs work in building the field among researchers, practitioners, and policy makers at the local, regional and national level.

5. Direct and oversee research at the ITA. Spearhead, direct, and oversee all ITA research projects from research design to implementation, analysis and project development. This includes:

  1. Projects and initiatives; broader research efforts, including those related to integrated services and systems that support community in particular, such as community schools development.

6. Disseminate and publish research findings, briefs, research publications and articles written for a variety of audiences in order to advance the work of the ITA.

7. Investigate grant opportunities, write and develop grant proposals to support sustainability of a research team. Supervise and direct others on the team to develop, write, and submit proposals.

8. Be an active member of the ITA leadership team and contribute to the organizational development of the ITA by collaborating with other strategy and program areas, supporting grant writing efforts, attending staff meetings and retreats, and participating in organization-wide operational efforts.
