We are looking for a Junior/Intermediate SQA Analyst, with expertise & experience in Manual Testing, to work as part of the BuildTopia R&D team to help ensure high quality and timely delivery of releases. He/she will be involved in defining and implementing the overall strategy for the QA teams and product releases.

Working out of the Contour Software Karachi office, the successful hire will collaborate with team members located in the mentioned office as well as those located in the US/Canada.

Qualification & Skills

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Software quality position.
• Good knowledge of Software Development life cycle.
• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.
• Good knowledge of Test Cases creation based on functional and non-functional specifications.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, and User Acceptance testing.
• Good knowledge of Identifying, Isolating, and Track Defects throughout Testing.
• Knowledge of Database/ SQL writing and executing queries and running scripts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

The Position

We are seeking skilled VB.NET Developers with some SQL experience, familiarity with C# Entity Framework, and front-end development is a plus. This role will be based offshore, requiring effective communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a global development team.

Key Responsibilities

• 2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining robust VB.NET applications using SQL Server databases.

The Division

Valeyo provides a Loan Origination System that Canadian financial institutions have been using for over 20 years. Valeyo supports complex lending scenarios that allows users to adjudicate and approve loans

The Position

We are seeking skilled VB.NET Developers with some SQL experience, familiarity with C# Entity Framework, and front-end development is a plus. This role will be based offshore, requiring effective communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a global development team.

Key Responsibilities

2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining robust VB.NET applications using SQL Server databases. Design and implement scalable solutions using Entity Framework for data access. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly front-end interfaces. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Some experience as a VB.NET Developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Proficiency in SQL Server. Some experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM frameworks. Experience in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Some Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.

Intermediate Unity Engineer (Gaming Industry)

We are looking for a talented unity engineer to join our team in building video game titles. As a unity engineer, you will be collaborating with senior staff, responsible for planning and implementing game functionality, building the game code, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring the quality of the finished product. You may also be required to build patches and install game updates.

To ensure success as a unity engineer, you should have extensive experience working with Unity software, excellent coding skills, and a good eye for detail. A top-class Unity developer can visualize, design, and code games that speak directly to the target market. They can create appropriate documentation and engage in productive code reviews. Additionally they also display a growth mindset, team player qualities, and an openness to feedback. For this role, employment will initially take the form of project based contracts (6 months) with an initial probationary period of three months.

Job Specification

Requirements:

• Candidates must be based in Karachi, Pakistan.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.
• Minimum three years of experience with demonstrable experience working on at least two full-cycle game development projects in Unity.
• Proficiency in Unity 2019 or later versions.
• Programming experience namely at least with C#.
• Experience with mobile development, as well as memory and space optimization for mobile devices is a plus.
• Good communication, teamplay, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of scripting, animation, version control, and textures.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members during cross-functional meetings.
