Responsibilities :
- Review, analyze, and recommend improvements to construction management processes and internal controls

Qualifications :
- Minimum one year of recent experience in field construction management or construction advisory services with increasing roles and responsibilities in a variety of large capital project types for both public and private clients
- Bachelors degree or masters' degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university; Professional Engineer, Project Management, Certified Construction Manager, Certified Public Accountant, American Institute of Architects, or other professional certification is preferred
- Demonstrated client coordination and subcontractor management for full life cycle construction projects including planning and work breakdown structures, pre-construction services, sourcing and procurement of contracts, contract administration, scheduling, cost estimating, quality management, project reporting, and project closeout
- Experience using various project management tools such as Procore, E-Builder, Primavera, Enterprise, Prolog, and other toolsets

Our Project Finance and Infrastructure team advises clients on financial, procurement, strategic, and public-private partnership issues for large-scale infrastructure projects. Your key responsibilities

Skills and attributes for success
Individuals with a good Knowledge of public-private partnerships (PPP), concessions and acquisition and project financing structures will do well in this role. Project Financing knowledge, with an understanding of project financial modelling and financing markets, and the understanding of economic or social infrastructure procurement and delivery would be highly valued.
Individuals with deep industry sector experience with track record in - (a) Value Frameworks which ensure that investments are targeted in the right areas; ensuring an optimal balance of expenditure across key asset classes, enhancements, renewals, maintenance and operations(b) Innovation Programs, leading to adoption and embedment of innovative tools, optimized processes and agile strategies for Portfolio Asset Management
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A professional qualification (MBA and/or CFA) is preferred; an engineering qualification would be an advantage
- Directly relevant work experience on large scale infra projects of approx. 6-8 years for Managers, with experience on large-scale infra projects.
- Experience in a top-tier advisory firm, infrastructure service provider, developer, bank, relevant government agency or other relevant sector experience
- Experience in structuring and financing transactions and/or procurements and the commercial aspects of relevant project documents
- Proven quantitative analytical capabilities and financial modelling experience is preferred
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Excellent problem solving, project management and interpersonal skills.

You will play a key role advising on the feasibility, structuring, funding and closing of financing for infrastructure projects and/or procurements, including contract negotiation and project management.
You will be required to demonstrate a deep understanding of capital project/program funding, financing and delivery mechanisms at the local, state, and national levels to support analysis of client projects and provide project and program management assistance to clients and project teams on large projects. Developing and mentoring junior team members will also be a key part of your role.

Skills and attributes for success
Individuals with a good Knowledge of public-private partnerships (PPP), concessions and acquisition and project financing structures will do well in this role. Project Financing knowledge, with an understanding of project financial modelling and financing markets, and the understanding of economic or social infrastructure procurement and delivery would be highly valued.
Individuals with deep industry sector experience with track record in - (a) Value Frameworks which ensure that investments are targeted in the right areas; ensuring an optimal balance of expenditure across key asset classes, enhancements, renewals, maintenance and operations(b) Innovation Programs, leading to adoption and embedment of innovative tools, optimized processes and agile strategies for Portfolio Asset Management
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A professional qualification (MBA and/or CFA) is preferred; an engineering qualification would be an advantage
- Directly relevant work experience on large scale infra projects of approx. 6-8 years for Managers, with experience on large-scale infra projects.
- Experience in a top-tier advisory firm, infrastructure service provider, developer, bank, relevant government agency or other relevant sector experience
- Experience in structuring and financing transactions and/or procurements and the commercial aspects of relevant project documents
- Proven quantitative analytical capabilities and financial modelling experience is preferred
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Excellent problem solving, project management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
