Responsibilities:- Draft and review contracts such as employment contracts, vendor agreements, and licensing agreements.
- Provide legal guidance on regulatory compliance and ensure that our company complies with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage litigation and disputes, and represent our company in court when necessary.
- Manage intellectual property matters such as trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
- Manage documents, review contracts, and help make other strategic decisions.
- Advise on employment and labor law matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, termination procedures, and human rights issues.
- Provide legal advice to senior management on a range of legal issues that may affect our company.
- Review, draft, and negotiate legally-binding agreements on behalf of the corporation.
- Advise corporate directors and officers on their rights and responsibilities, and other policies used to manage the company.
- Bachelor's degree in law from a reputable institution.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role in a corporate setting, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property law, and regulatory compliance.
- Extensive experience in employment and labor law, including employment contracts, workplace policies, termination procedures, and human rights issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Terms and Conditions

- Preference will be given to the Candidate(s) who has/have rich experience of dealing with the cases of University affairs and are well-versed with the University Rules & Regulations etc.
- The interested candidates may send their C.V to the Office of University Attorney Government College University, Faisalabad alongwith attested copies of documents on or before 05 March, 2025 positively.
- A Committee constituted by the Vice Chancellor would assess/recommend a panel of candidates, on the basis of required professional credentials of the Candidates, for further appointment.
- The University reserves the right not to recommended / consider any application without assigning any reason.
