ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance of all electrical installations, electrical systems, and equipment under the instructions of the electrical supervisor for safe and efficient operations to minimize breakdowns.
Specifically, you will be expected to:
- Carry out repair and maintenance of equipment like Low Transformer and High Transformer switch gear under the guidance of the supervisor to keep these in running condition.
- Assist the supervisor for operational maintenance of electrical installations during shift duty.
- Record and monitor voltage and currents of different electrical systems for operational reliability.
- Log maintenance work requests indicating time and material consumed.
- Record all required information in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system on job activity to maintain history and other relevant data.
You should have:
- Matriculation completed, preferably Intermediate.
- At least six years of relevant work experience and possess an Electric Wireman license.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment like MCC (Motor Control Centre) panel and PCC (Power Control Center) panel, power distribution systems, lighting systems, audio-visual equipment, fire alarm system, and nurse-call system.
- Extensive knowledge about plant preventive maintenance systems.
- Good communication skills with command over the English language.
- Ability to effectively work independently as well as in teams and perform shift duties.
