We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Quality to lead both Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions at an upcoming API manufacturing facility in Lahore.
This is a leadership role with a critical mandate: ensuring compliance, reliability, and integrity across all quality processes from raw material to final product.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of QMS in line with GMP, DRAP, and international standards
* Manage QA and QC teams, overseeing lab operations, documentation, and in-process controls
* Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and compliance audits
* Set up and validate analytical labs (HPLC, GC, FTIR, etc.)
* Handle deviations, CAPAs, OOS, and drive continuous quality improvement
* Collaborate with production and R&D to ensure quality by design
Ideal Profile:
* Pharm-D / M.Sc. / M.Phil. in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related
* 10+ years in the pharmaceutical sector, with 5+ years in QA/QC leadership, preferably in API/bulk drug manufacturing
* Strong grip on cGMP, ICH guidelines, GLP, and documentation
* Hands-on experience in lab setup and audit handling
